Community Resilience

Kenn Pride signed up to volunteer under North Somerset’s  Community Resilience scheme as soon as it started.  We displayed the big question mark as a beginning to the scheme and are now happily learning how to look after our village should the worst happen.

The whole idea of Community Resilience is a brilliant fit with the philosophy of Kenn Pride – we need to be prepared to do it for ourselves.   Snow Training was a real hoot, and, if it does snow, we will be out there doing what we would have been doing anyway (fully insured by the County), and also doing a bit more which the County can’t insure, but which needs doing.
